A five day enumerator training workshop was held from 11th to 15th February at the Royal Mall Hotel, Kandy and with 60 participants, including 40 field staff.

Kandy Consulting Group (Pvt.) Ltd. is working with the Asian Development Bank and the Tea Board to conduct a survey of Tea Small Holder businesses for a study on this sector.  This study  is being conducted by a group of international and local researchers.  The local team is lead by Professor Suresh de Mel at the Department of Economics & Statistics, University of Peradeniya.

This research project was initiated in 2024 by the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) in partnership with local collaborators, including the International Water Management Institute (IWMI), Wayamba University, Peradeniya University, the Industrial Technology Institute, and the Hector Kobbekaduwa Agrarian Research and Training Institute (HARTI).

Kandy Consulting Group (Pvt.) Ltd. provided field survey consultancy services for the research project during the survey period, which ran from June 2024 to August 2024.

In 2024, Kandy Consulting Group Pvt. Ltd has provided service as ‘data collector' to Compassion International Lanka (CIL), a child development organization for implementing a micro field survey of “Youth Satisfaction Measurement Survey and Children and Youth (Level 02) Outcome Measurement Survey” in the selected project locations in Sri Lanka.

Due to the increasing attention being paid to the need for care on a worldwide scale, a detailed evaluation of its economic significance and contribution to national development is imperative. 

The Social Science Research Council of Canada, the University of Toronto, Verite Research, and Kandy Consulting Group conducted a pilot survey to acquire quantitative data.
