The field staff training was sucessfully completed in 5 days (from 22nd to 26 July) at the Royal Kandyan hotel, with 75 people attending.
Initial field work started from 1st August.
This project is a part of a nine-country international consortium of studies on Care Economies in Context, led by Prof. Ito Peng of the University of Toronto, which aims to understand and address the constraints faced especially by households and communities across the globe in providing childcare, eldercare and care for persons with disability (PWDs).
